Dwayne is a husband, father, and grandfather from Houston, Texas. He has been a fisherman his whole life from the freshwater of the Piney Woods in East Texas, to the Saltwater on the Gulf Coast. Always having had a passion for the outdoors, Dwayne especially enjoys bass fishing. In 2016, Dwayne began his kayak fishing journey. In the spring of 2007 he started competing in bass tournaments. Since beginning this "awesome journey" he has competed in a whopping 137 tournaments, with 47 top ten finishes and 3 top finishes. He is also a 3 time championship qualifier in both the KBF Trail Championship and the KBF National Championship. Dwayne's biggest accomplishment was in March of 2018, when he defeated 755 kayak anglers on Kentucky Lake - winning the Kayak Bass Fishing National Championship! Dwayne feels fortunate to have been able to work with some of the best fishing companies in the industry.
